GROUP FITNESS COORDINATOR
As our Group Fitness Coordinator Lina organises and oversees all of our group fitness classes, bootcamps and personal training. Having studied at AUT Lina has a Certificate in Personal Training, is Reps Registered, as well as teaching Les Mills BodyPump, Grit Strength, Grit Cardio, BodyAttack and our own Xtreme Abs classes. She loves how you can transform yourself, mind, body and soul through fitness. Lina is also a title winning Body Builder. She loves rappers Kendric Lamar and Notorious BIG, and is jamming ‘Finese’ by Bruno Mars at the moment!
As our Membership Coordinator, Grace looks after our members and is the go-to to help them out with their profiles and accounts. She loves the community of people here at Fitness 24/7 and loves to make people feel as comfortable as they can here. Grace is also currently working towards becoming a qualified Les Mills Pump Instructor, her favourite exercise being the clean and press. As well as a love for fitness, Grace is passionate about Film and Television editing, and having begun her studies at AUT she is working towards attending South Seas Film School. She also loves horror movies (especially the Scream franchise).
As our sales representative, Petra is your go-to person if you’re interested in joining the gym, or in special deals for corporate groups. She also has a wealth of knowledge with a Master of Sport Science from the University of Zagreb, more than 16 years experience in the industry and as a specialist in Pre and Postnatal Fitness. Since moving to New Zealand and becoming a mother, her passion has become women’s fitness. As the founder of Yummum Fitness, Petra works to celebrate women, their abilities to transform their bodies and help them to enjoy being active and healthy mums. In her free time Petra loves to be with friends and family, living an active Kiwi lifestyle, and as a former International Representative of Croatian Women’s Rugby still loves to kick a ball around occasionally.
Apo is one of our Personal Trainers and has an advanced Diploma in exercise Prescription at NZIS. He is passionate about gaining in depth knowledge about how the muscles work, bone structure and nutrition. His goal is to provide you have an enjoyable training session, and help you reach the targets you want to achieve. Apo has also competed as a Body Builder placing 3rd in the Novice Beach-body category at the LivFit Body Bonanza.
As one of our Personal Trainers Akira serves our members, helping them to set and reach their health and fitness goals. She holds New Zealand Certificates in Exercise, Personal Training and Small Group Fitness. After previously weighing 118kg and going through her own weight loss journey over two years, Akira knows first hand the challenges and benefits of getting fitter. She knows how fitness can be a tool to help you cope both mentally and physically. Akira is passionate about women’s health, and her goal is to use fitness to inspire women to realize their worth and encourage them to nurture and grow self-appreciation. Akira loves strength training and HIIT training, and specializes in helping our members with weight loss and management. She also loves going for walks with her dog to keep fit.
